We accept new patients who fall within our catchment area .
To register as a patient please complete the forms available at the reception desk – each adult must sign an individual form. Please note it can take up to 48 hours for the registration process to be completed.
You will have a named, accountable doctor who is responsible for coordinating your care. You can still talk to or make appointments to see any of our doctors or nurses, not just your named GP.
We recommend that new patients undertake a health check with a practice nurse.
Registration – refusals
The practice may on some rare occasions refuse to accept registrations but will not do so on grounds that relate to the applicant’s race, gender, social class, age, religion, sexual orientation, appearance, disability or medical condition.
Patients who have been removed from the practice list as a result of abuse or aggressive behaviour will not be re-registered.
Patients who are refused registration should contact NHS England’s Customer Contact Centre. For general information on GP surgeries in your residential area go to www.nhs.uk click on GPs and enter your postcode.
Patient list
The practice list size is not closed at the present time. However, there is a maximum which we cannot exceed without compromising the care of patients.
Temporary and emergency care
The practice will accept as a ‘one off’ registration any patient requiring immediate GP attention. If there is a true medical emergency utilise the Accident and Emergency department at your nearest hospital.
