Government guidance states that you do not need to seek advice or request a letter from a medical professional.
If your travel provider asks you to request such a letter from your GP you need to be aware that they will provide a letter stating only that you have declared yourself as exempted. They cannot use wording that you provide.
There will be a £25 charge for such letters.
